"XV Eurasian Economic Youth Forum in Yekaterinburg: The Ambassador of Guinea became the guest of honor of the event"

From April 21 to April 25, an international diplomatic forum was held at the Ural State University of Economics in Yekaterinburg as part of the XV Eurasian Economic Youth Forum. The topic of the meeting was "Economic cooperation in the Eurasian space: synergy and balance of interests."

76 foreign and Russian representatives of diplomatic missions of various levels took part in the event. "More than 21,500 people took part in the EEFM-2025 at various venues, including 86 regions of Russia," said Yakov Silin, Rector of Ural State University of Economics, opening the meeting. – Since 2009, this has been the largest and largest forum. But our meeting has a special significance. Thank you for taking the time and opportunity to come to Yekaterinburg, in the Urals, to express your position."

Vasily Kozlov, Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, who oversees international activities and foreign economic relations, delivered a welcoming speech from the government of the region: "Thank you to USUE for paying such attention to the diplomatic sphere. This is extremely relevant in the current global paradigm. The Forum opens up new horizons for us, and our meetings, exchange of opinions, and best practices contribute to this. Every year we look for and find new topics for fruitful cooperation. The Middle Urals has huge potential in this regard. It is youth initiatives that play a major role in this process.

The topics of the reports at the forum of diplomats were topical issues of the global economy, equality of states, the need to reformat the United Nations, the activities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and BRICS, the fight against climate change, international trade, competition, technological revolution, artificial intelligence.
"Through dialogue and mutual understanding, together with Russia, we are creating the future," said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bolivia Maria Luisa Ramos Ursagaste. – These are not empty words about my country. The transfer of technology, knowledge and skills, and scientific research all play an important role in building sovereignty. All this needs to be developed in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. In this sense, we, Russia and Bolivia, are opening new frontiers. Together with Russia, we are building the world's highest-altitude nuclear research center. Ten years ago, we couldn't even dream about it. Our students and young scientists study in Russia.

"The year 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the United Nations," Vladimir Kuznetsov recalled. – Throughout its history, the organization has gone through many difficult stages, the Cold War was a serious test. But today, the UN has once again found itself in the epicenter of an international confrontation. The unipolar model of the world has definitely failed, so a polycentric model is being formed in the world, where new centers of power will play an increasing role. The UN continues to be the most effective mechanism for cooperation, but it does not exist in a vacuum. It is a mirror of the modern world, which reflects both positive and negative factors. The enormous inequality on the planet is a clear signal that something is wrong with the system. But it can be defeated, and the Sustainable Development Goals and modernization of global financial institutions have an important role to play in this."

"International cooperation has great prospects, but the interests of all countries are different," said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sudan Mohammed Elgazali Eltijani Sirraj. – It is necessary to maintain a balance so that international relations benefit all participants. Eurasia and Africa account for 75% of the entire earth and huge resources. But political will is needed for countries to communicate and cooperate on equal terms. And in this regard, many thanks to Russia for its support."

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Guinea, Niankoy Aba, prepared, in turn, an entire presentation of his state.
